1. Enhanced e-Form Usage

  • When users click “Add New Document”, a list of available zDOX Forms will be displayed.
  • Users can write messages, attach files, and save documents before initiating the workflow.
  • To send an e-form for review or response, users must click “Start Flow” on the saved document and follow the standard submission process.
  • Sample forms now support various input elements including: Text Boxes, Dropdowns, Radio Buttons, Checkboxes, Date, and Time fields.

2. New Button for Large Document Preview

  • A new button enables users to preview large documents (larger than A4 size) in a pop-up window for easier viewing.

3. New User Role: Admin User

A new “Admin User” role has been introduced with enhanced privileges, including

    • Configuring watermark details (e.g., editable watermark text; general users can select from preset options)
    • Designing e-Forms
    • Assigning digital certificates for each site (applicable for organizations with multiple sites)

4. Signer Reassignment by Sender

  • The document creator (sender) can change the signer during the signing flow, provided the original signer has not yet completed their task.

5. Enhanced PDF Viewer (PDF Files Only)

  • Enter Fullscreen – View PDFs in full-screen mode.
  • Move Pages – Reorder pages to the top or bottom of the document.
  • Insert / Replace / Extract Pages – Modify PDF structure and export specific pages as new files (without affecting the original in zDOX).
  • Compare Pages – Compare two PDF/A files with differences clearly highlighted:
    • Red = zDOX file
    • Green = Compared file
    • No highlight = Matched text
    • Annotation: Increase the ability to write annotation messages.
    • Rotate annotations such as Free Text, Rectangle, and Shapes.
    • New Freehand Highlight button to highlight text.
    • New “Fill and Sign” and “Forms” menus
    • Fill and Sign: Rubber stamp, Text, Icon (x, ✓, .), Current Date

    • Forms Label, Text, Radio box, List box, Combo box

6. Download All Signed Documents with Audit Trail

  • Users can download completed documents with or without audit trail data, including digital certificates and record tracking information.
    • Option to include or exclude the audit trail when downloading.

7. Profile Enhancements

  • Additional options and fields have been added to the Profile Settings page for improved user customization.
    • General
    • Security
    • Notification

8. Open Documents in a New Tab from Search Page

  • When opening a document from search results, it now launches in a new browser tab for better navigation.

9. Email Template Enhancement – Sender Details

  • Workflow notification emails (e.g., Sign, CC, Reject, Reminder, etc.) now include the sender’s name for better context and tracking.

10. Version Control: Minor/Major Upload Option

  • Users can indicate whether a newly uploaded file version is a minor or major update for better version tracking.

11. Resizable Signature and Initials

  • Signers can resize their signature or initials to better fit designated areas in the document.

12. Required Fields for Free Text

  • Free Text fields can be marked as required, ensuring recipients fill them in before completing the signing process.

13. Task List Grouping Options

  • Tasks can now be grouped by
    • No Grouping
    • Status
    • Sender
